Our Sustainability

Walking the walk . . .

As a leader in energy consulting, G|BA assists our clients in substantial energy usage and energy cost reductions. But GBA also has a commitment to our own corporate sustainability. We had a number of in-house sustainability and recycling programs already in place before 2013, when we initiated a Sustainability Tracking Committee to further our sustainability efforts. Our annual Sustainability Report documents our ongoing work in this area.

In 2019, GBA became part of the inaugural class of 17 businesses certified through the Sustain Evanston program: a voluntary initiative that incentivizes businesses to reduce their environmental impact and create a healthier community. To achieve certification, GBA documented its efforts in the areas of energy, water, resource conservation, and community participation. The status was renewed in 2021.
