GBA is soliciting data for the next edition of its annual healthcare facility benchmarking survey, including information from calendar years 2023 and 2024.

Since its inception in 1995, GBA’s Hospital Energy and Water Benchmarking Survey has helped hospitals benchmark their energy and cost performance against other similar facilities, in an anonymous format. Participants are provided with graphical and numerical comparisons that make it easy to benchmark your facility against all the other hospitals in the survey.

GBA’s survey provides some key data not available from other tools: namely, comparisons for energy cost ($/sf) and unit costs ($kWh and $/therm), as well as water usage and cost (gal/sf and $/kgal).

Survey results are provided free of charge to aid the healthcare sector in tracking the progress of energy management and sustainability programs. We are currently soliciting data for our 2025 survey, which will report and analyze data from calendar years 2023 and 2024. Healthcare facilities can submit data for one or both years. The data collected for both 2023 and 2024 will be released in a combined report in 2025.

If you would like to participate, please complete the confidential short form. Fill it out with CY2023 and/or CY 2024 data by May 15, 2025.

Questions about submitting the form can be submitted to EnergySurvey@grummanbutkus.com.
