GBA Promotes Two Engineers

Promoted to Vice President was former Associate Vice President Jonathan E. Gehrt, P.E., LEED AP. Former Senior Project Engineer Randall Steckman, P.E, is now Project Manager.

Jonathan E. Gehrt joined G/BA in 1985. His responsibilities include principal-in-charge and/or project management for numerous projects, including design of mechanical systems for new and existing facilities, facility studies, master planning, and analysis of central plant operating problems. Areas of particular expertise include hospitality and healthcare facilities, as well as energy analysis/planning and central plant design. Gehrt holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a member of ASHRAE.

Randall Steckman joined G/BA in 2014. His experience encompasses systems design and analysis for commercial, healthcare, higher education, and other facility types. He is a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a member of ASHRAE and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).

G/BA congratulates these team members for their valuable ongoing contributions to the firm, which specializes in energy and resource consulting for large, energy-intensive facilities as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/FP design services, commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy and resource benchmarking, energy conservation studies, MEP infrastructure planning and upgrades, LEED consulting, and computerized building modeling. Founded in 1973 in Evanston, IL, the company also has offices in Wisconsin, Florida and the New York metropolitan area.
