GBA Help Clients Receive Over Two Million Dollars in Funding

GBA News

Grumman/Butkus Associates (G/BA)  has assisted clients in receiving over two million dollars of prescriptive and custom incentive funding through the Smart Ideas for Your Business program, saving over 16 million kWh. Project types have included efficient chiller plants, conversions to variable air and water flow, and other energy saving projects related to HVAC equipment and building control systems.

G/BA clients have leveraged this funding to improve reliability, energy, and cost performance in their facilities by upgrading older equipment with more efficient models.  Incentives have ranged from a few hundred dollars for motor upgrades, to several hundred thousand dollars for large chiller plant replacements. Fourteen incentive applications were for incentives greater than $50,000.

Check back for future blog posts describing additional savings from Smart Ideas Retro-Commissioning, Smart Ideas New Construction and DCEO programs.  Contact one of G/BA’s principals if you’d like to learn more about maximizing incentive funding at your facility.
