GBA Announces December Promotions

Three team members in Grumman/Butkus Associates’ Evanston, IL, office were promoted to new positions at the firm’s recent semi-annual meeting.

  • Andrew Milleville, P.E., and Alexander Schultz, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, were promoted to Project Manager.
  • Justin D’Arcy, P.E., was promoted to Senior Project Engineer.

Andrew Milleville holds a BS from Valapariso University (2007) and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2012). He joined G/BA in 2015. Andrew’s responsibilities include leading teams for design and specification of mechanical equipment; analyzing thermal and hydraulic processes; and working with temperature controls and chiller and boiler plants for a variety of client types.

Alexander Schultz joined the firm in 2007, shortly after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Alex has responsibilities in energy studies and mechanical building system design. He serves clients in multiple sectors, including healthcare, higher education, commercial science/technology, and hospitality.

Justin D’Arcy is a BS Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Dayton (2014). He joined G/BA in 2015. Justin’s work focuses on commissioning, retro-commissioning, and building automation systems. He holds the Tridium Niagara 4 certification and is the lead developer of G/BA’s Trend Sumoâ„¢ HVAC trend data review application tool, which helps clients identify faults and energy savings opportunities.

G/BA congratulates these team members for their valuable ongoing contributions to the firm, which specializes in energy and resource consulting for large, energy-intensive facilities as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and medical/specialty gas design services; commissioning, retro-commissioning, and monitoring-based commissioning; energy and resource benchmarking; energy conservation studies; MEP infrastructure planning and upgrades; LEED and Green Globes consulting; and computerized building modeling. Founded in 1973 in Evanston, IL, the company also has offices in Wisconsin, Florida, and the New York metropolitan area.
