Electrical utility ComEd has praised GBA’s work across its Energy Efficiency incentive program, honoring GBA with the 2022 Energy Efficiency Service Provider (EESP) Award and the 2022 Most Savings of the Year Award. The EESP designation is given to the Service Provider that consistently received positive customer satisfaction feedback in the utility’s Energy Efficiency Program, or that went above and beyond in providing the premier customer experience. Energy Efficiency Service Providers that significantly ramped up their project submissions compared to previous years are also considered for the award.

The Most Savings of the Year Award recognized GBA’s work for total savings on projects at Ascension St. Elizabeth and ADP, as well as several projects at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

Recently, James O’Shaughnessy, Service Provider Manager at ComEd, presented the awards to Dan Doyle and David Eldridge at GBA’s Evanston office. “The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program is unquestionably one of the best utility incentive programs in the country. GBA has been very active in the program from its inception, helping our clients obtain significant monetary incentives that help move their energy efficiency and sustainability programs forward,” says Illinois Chairman Dan Doyle.

The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program supports facility assessments, incentives, building optimization services, and energy management tools to help business customers save energy and money. GBA’s projects in the program have included multiple assessments and retro-commissioning projects, as well as many energy-saving design projects involving various incentives that help fund installation of efficient equipment and systems.
