Six staff members were promoted to new positions during Grumman/Butkus Associates’ semi-annual meeting in July.
David Cohen, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, DCEP, and Todd Soukup, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, have been promoted to Project Manager. David is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who joined Grumman/Butkus in 2008. His work encompasses energy studies, commissioning, and mechanical system design for healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and commercial clients. Todd, a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, joined G/BA in 2014. He is an expert in mechanical and plumbing/FP engineering design for commercial, healthcare, institutional, multifamily residential, and other clients.
Promoted to Senior Project Engineer were Fiona Martin, P.E., QCxP, BEAP, LEED AP O+M; Tim Shinnick, P.E., QCxP, LEED AP BD+C; and Alexander R. Schultz, P.E., LEED AP BD+C. Fiona, who joined G/BA in 2010, graduated from the University of Dayton; she specializes in energy analysis, LEED consulting, commissioning, and retro-commissioning for commercial, healthcare, and other clients.Tim, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, joined G/BA in 2009. His work includes retro-commissioning, commissioning, and energy analysis for healthcare, multifamily residential, hospitality, and higher ed clients. Alex, a G/BA staff member since 2007, is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in mechanical system design and energy studies. Clients include healthcare, commercial, hospitality, and higher education facilities.
Joshua Remaley, P.E., was promoted to Project Engineer. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he joined the firm in 2014. Josh provides commissioning and retro-commissioning services to healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and commercial clients.
