Dan held the position of President of the Evanston office from 2000 to the end of 2013; he assumed the post of Chairman in 2014. He is responsible for the firm’s general management, marketing, and recruiting. He is also the principal-in-charge for numerous designs and studies. For the past 45 years, Dan’s career has focused on energy conservation and efficiency improvements in new and existing buildings, especially energy-intensive and mission critical facilities, such as laboratories, hospitals, data centers, and specialized manufacturing facilities.
Dan has received awards from organizations such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the U.S. Department of Energy for energy conservation retrofits in existing buildings and green building design.
