Five staff members were promoted to new positions during Grumman/Butkus Associates’ semi-annual meeting in July.
Jeff Cochran, P.E., and Eric Huber, P.E., were promoted to Project Manager. Promoted to Senior Project Engineer were Andrew Milleville, P.E.; Melissa Pletzer, P.E., REP; and Chris Sbarbaro, P.E., CPD, GPD, LEED AP BD+C.
Jeff Cochran joined G/BA in 2007. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University. His experience spans plumbing, medical gas/vacuum, and fire protection design for healthcare and academic facilities. He is a member of ASPE.
Eric Huber, a member of the G/BA team since 2007, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree from Southern Illinois University. He is responsible for project design, analysis, and coordination in hospitality, healthcare, and education projects. Eric is a member of ASHRAE.
Andrew Milleville joined G/BA in 2015. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University and a Master of Energy Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of ASHRAE and has diverse MEP experience in commercial, education, and healthcare facilities.
Melissa Pletzer joined G/BA in 2014. She holds B.S. degrees in Architectural Engineering and in Management Systems from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Her work focuses on design, analysis, and commissioning of electrical systems for commercial, hospitality, multifamily residential, higher education, healthcare, and government clients. Melissa is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society.
Chris Sbarbaro joined G/BA in 2015. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His responsibilities include design and engineering of plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems for commercial, multifamily residential, healthcare, and education projects. Chris serves as the Vice President (Technical) for the Chicago chapter of ASPE and is a member of ASHRAE.
