Building Team for North Park University’s Johnson Center Honored With Award

Awards

Building Design + Construction magazine has released its list of Building Team Awards winners for 2015, recognizing projects that “demonstrate the power of collaboration.”

Among this year’s winners is the Johnson Center at North Park University, a 101,000-square-foot building that includes a student union and  new science labs. G/BA provided commissioning services for the project, which received a Gold Award and was executed using a three-party integrated project delivery agreement involving architect VOA, construction manager W.B. Olson, and NPU/The Boldt Company. G/BA was hired by Boldt, which served as owner’s rep for the unusual job.

The magazine’s awards article provides additional details. Congrats to North Park and all our teammates!
