Create Greener Labs with Upcoming Windy City I2SL Workshop!
Join G/BA's Dan Doyle and other experts on Feb. 23 for a special High-Performance, Low-Energy Laboratory Design Introductory Course at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Sponsored by UIC and the Windy City I2SL chapter, the day-long workshop will give attendees real-world strategies for sustainable lab design and construction, including architecture, energy-efficient design principles, HVAC systems, water efficiency, lighting/daylighting, and additional resources and tools.Joining Dan Doyle will be Vytenis Milunas (UIC), and Susan Turner (Bailey Edward Architects) -- representing expertise from the owner side as well as architecture and engineering.
The program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the East Campus Student Center at UIC. Six learning units are available.
The fee for this special event, payable at the door by cash or check, is $100 for I2SL members and $150 for non-members. This includes the educational program, lunch, and coffee breaks.
