Dan held the position of President of the Evanston office from 2000 to the end of 2013; he assumed the post of Chairman in 2014. He is responsible for the firm’s general management, marketing, and recruiting. He is also the principal-in-charge for numerous designs and studies. For the past 30 years, Dan’s career has focused on energy conservation and efficiency improvements in new and existing buildings, especially energy-intensive and mission critical facilities, such as laboratories, hospitals, data centers,and specialized manufacturing facilities.

Dan has received awards from organizations such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the U.S. Department of Energy for energy conservation retrofits in existing buildings and green building design.
